We arose early, early enough, the next morning to have a nice breakfast and find a new hotel before we had to be out of the Excelsior. We realized that the Excelsior has live music every night of the week, and even though it was a fine place to stay, the thought of music coming through the floor for the next few nights was enough of a reason to seek other accommodations.

We ended up at a swanky little place, near just about everything, called Vibe Hotel. Two twin beds and a futon, wifi, and a wall-mounted, flat screen tv is what we were to call home for the next three nights. I thought we left this kind of comfort in Hong Kong, but could see I was mistaken. I didn’t think it was necessary because I didn’t plan to be sitting in a hotel room while having time in Sydney, but it worked out very well for Scott since he had a good amount of work to do.
